Description

A highly tolerant grass to drought, low nutrient demand grass. A flexible species used in a range of mixtures particularly suitable for sustainable golf course programs. It is useful in low maintenance situations and has a range of soils from acidic to alkaline.

Sheep Fescue is slow growing perennial grass with fine bristle like leaves. Individual plants form dense tufts, they do not spread by runners but plants can merge together when grazed or mown to form mats or turf. Sheeps Fescue seed can be sown at any time of the year when the soil conditions are suitable. It is a slow growing grass meaning it takes time to establish from seed.
